Shocked and heartbroken

My beautiful girl Fizz was out hacking with the freelancer who has been working with her when she started staggering and calling. The freelancer managed to get off her before Fizz collapsed on the grass verge and died within seconds.

She was only just rising 7 and it was so unexpected. I can't believe she has gone and so quickly and unexpectedly, the vet thinks that she probably burst a blood vessel. The local farmer brought her home and her companion was able to see her, she is now alone and I have contacts out finding me a companion for her.

RIP Fizz, you are going to be very much missed.

I’m so sorry, it’s so terrible to lose them suddenly. Be kind to yourself, you will be in shock as well as grieving.
When I lost my first horse very suddenly I took some comfort in knowing it was quick and he hadn’t suffered. RIP Fizz

So sorry it is heartbreaking to lose one so young take care of yourself I am sure the companion will be aware and be fine until you get sorted. Everyone should give theirs an extra hg you never know when these things happen. I pray my old girl goes like that but it so rarely happens so quickly and naturally
