I was innocently waiting outside a shop while my hubby was inside.

I had Salem with me.

Some toothless freakazoid came over and attempted to sit astride my dog and commented that he would join in the National.

FFS - I'll be glad when it's all over

I dunno, look at the stride on that dog, he looks like an Aintree specialist to me! That fella might have been on to something! :D

Sadly, since The Tank taught him some manners as a pup by kicking him in the head (it's OK, The Tank is barefoot so it didn't kill him

He would run alright......just not in the right direction

Oberon, we have the same taste in breeds. I, despite my name on here, used to have a lovely husky (died of old age three years' ago) now replaced by an Arab gelding.

I live opposite a betting shop but have almost entirely managed to miss the Grand National apart from noticing it was a bit more crowded outside.

Lovely dog op.
I'm the same, hacked out sat & sun with small daughter to various amusing comments about 'are they in the national'
