Shockwave + bute = ?

Does anyone know what effect bute has on shockwave therapy? Logic would suggest that the two should not go together (shockwave is inflammatory and bute is anti inflammatory), but is this the case? Or is it ok to bute between shockwave treatments?

Tbh i never really thought about it like that (ie logically!) But if it's any help, dolly had 4 shockwave therapy sessions on her back & the vet never told us to discontinue her danilon. I think they actually told us to *ENSURE* she had it.
