shodding? better on one foot than the other

My mare is being a pain with shoes, Shes ok with the near fore but the far fore shes a pain to get her to have the shoe nailed on.
I dont know why there is no damage to her leg and shes no lame at all so could this just be a thing thats upset her from the past?

I have one question for you first. Is this just a recent thing or has she always been like this (if, so, for how long?)

Two things spring to mind.

Firstly, although there's no damage to her leg and she's not lame at all, it could be simply due to stiffness/onesidedness or perhaps even a muscular pain in perhaps the shoulder or back, which could make it uncomfortable for her to lift that leg.

Secondly, horses learn things from each side individually. What we teach a horse to do on the left, doesn't automatically mean that the horse will "mirror" that action and do it on the right side. Instead, the horse has to be taught the action on the right as a separate action.

If the mare has had a bad experience in the past with shoeing on the off fore, she may be remembering this - but in her case, she hasn't learnt the bad experience on the near side as well - so she continues to be okay on that side?

Am I making sense?

Not saying these 2 ideas are the answers, but worth thinking about maybe?

yes you do make sence thank you, I have had her for 2 and half months now and today was her second time being shod.
Shes no problem lifting her leg for picking out, streaching, extended gaits, jumping ect so I would see it as a back problem or shoulder tbh but she having all joints checked over in 2 weeks, so am a little baffeled.
Shes a funny one shes ok untill you start hammering nails in
