I've put one of those poultice type shoe boots on my horse it's blue rubber with more solid type rubber at bottom but can't get it off!! Anyone got any suggestions?!

Could you pour something greasy into it, maybe baby oil or something, to help it slide off?

Turn him out in the field - trust me he will get it off in SECONDS (IME) lol
ETA it has to come off over the heel, so try heat (warm water on a sponge) to soften the plastic over the heel area?

I've put oil in and he is been out the last three days getting a bit concerned now!! Ill try hot water thanks
