Am now at my wits end! My horse ALWAYS pulls at least one shoe off each time he's shod, he only wears fronts as he gets very footy on hard ground otherwise.
He's turned out with overreach boots which seem to make no difference. The last time he was shod, the farrier put them on a bit tighter and fitted a slightly smaller shoe. Now, ONE single week later, he's pulled one off
How can I keep his shoes on?
Going without isn't an option and I don't really want to change farrier as he does my other 4 no problems and he does a fantastic job with my mares remedial shoeing.
