Does your farrier charge less for shoes being refitted as opposed to new shoes?

Think its maybe £5 or possibly £10 less

About a fiver here as well- most of what you're paying for is the skill/time &c., the shoes are a minor portion of the cost.

Mine is £85 full refit and £97 alll new, shoes + road nails

same price for me, but i think £60 for fronts is a good price.

better than the £110 im paying currently for her special shoes and pads!

Mine is £12 less
He does however charge £20 if they pull one off to revisit and refit - I have always thought they should charge for this, but never have previously so it must be a fairly new thing

Ours is a fiver less, but bless him he doesn't charge extra for replacing lost shoes - or for putting road nails in my driving pony's shoes.

Yup less for a refit although I do too much roadwork to benefit.
