Shoeing

Hi,

I have recently got a new farrier who is a remedial farrier but the past two times he has shod my horse his shoes are touching his frog I can't even get a hoof pick up the side, also his heels are very low.

Is this right for his shoes to be touching his frog? Can anyone recommend a good remedial farrier in the Wigan area?

Is he qualified?

Look on the net there is a website to find registered farriers.

Thanks for your reply. Yeah he's very qualified. But i'm just not sure if his shoes should be touching his frog?
