Had my horsey just coming up for 6 months now...
She came with feet that were badly needing shod & out of balance & the first trim pretty much took care of that.
She's been on monthly reshoeing since then & is fed Biotin.
I spent 2 months applying NAF hoof moist & the farrier said it was making it worse, so then started using cornucresine - again he said it was making things worse.
Last time she was shod the shoe only stayed flush to the hoof for 2 weeks & had to wait a week for the farrier as couldn't ride on a twisted shoe...
This time, the shoe's already lost a nail after only a week
What can I do? She's only shod in front but STILL it's very expensive!
Also, the farrier is the best in my area.
HELP?
