Used them when the horse I was riding lost shoe & to stop it getting bruised soles, he wore on for a bit (owner bought it) til the farrier could come back out.
I HATE THEM.
An icecream tub is a better fit!

LOL. Yes, mine arrived yesterday. Can see what you mean. Can't imagine them being a very secure fit. Still, I'll try one on and see how I get on.

i've used one but only in the stable to keep a poultice on, and it didn't rub... but then it didn't get much chance to!

Erm yes, echo the ice cream tub being better fit. Just bought a Shires poultice boot @ £24 and quite impressed.
