Shoot the owners!

Poor girl. Hope she gets better soon and is found a wonderful home that she deserves. What a beautiful face she has.

Poor little bitch. I agree about the weight, 11kg at 3 years old is unbelievable. Think the SSPCA are slightly low on their average breed weight. My GSD bitches usually weigh around 35 kg . Hope they manage to prosecute the owners, and that poor little Willow makes a full recovery.

The little lab bitch I am currently fostering for a rescue only weighs 18.8 kgs now. She was 17.8kgs when I first got her, and that was after she had been in the pound and then the rescue kennels for a little while

. You can still see her ribs, but I'm not so worried now about being reported to the RSPCA for cruelty.

She is smaller than labs normally are, is only about 12 months old, and has already had a litter

. Poor little munchkin. Even so, she is so desperate to please, is really well behaved and greets me with a whole body wag

She is terrified of things like brooms and mops, and will flatten to the floor when frightened.

Unfortunately, things like this are not unusual in rescue dogs

. Here is the gorgeous Holly. You can get a bit of an idea how skinny she is:

When Alf the lurcher came to me he was a starving 9 kilos and thinner than anything i've seen in my life, and he only weighs 15 kilos now, so how that poor girl was still alive at 11 kilos I don't know. What a beautiful trusting face she has even after humans let her down so badly.
