Bit late i know, still better late than never!

Can't believe the season is over already - I really miss it! As do the dogs ...

Had such a great season. Now it's time to get down to training and I hope to see a few of you down here next year! If anyone would like to come down for a day/weekend you're more than welcome! I will have my house by then (and not stuck in a 1 bed flat!) so will have a spare room, spare kennels etc ...

Over to the spangle/lab massive!

I WARN YOU NOW - THERE ARE ONE OR TWO!

L-R - Kensa, Teal (Maisey's Mum), Meg (Maisey's Gran) & Ellie

You should put some of those group shots in a frame, they are beautiful, and your phessies are so nice and fat and healthy looking, very well reared :D

What's your camera? And also - do you get post trial/post shoot/post season depression? I am miserable tonight, but after the last one of 2010 I was inconsolable :o :o :o sad, I know!

Camera is a crappy Nikon Coolpix S3000 - I just wanted something i didn't mind battering/getting wet/dropping in mud etc

In answer to your question - yes! I am lost on a Saturday morning without my breeks/shirts etc but i have been spending loads of time with the dogs still. Walked 4 miles this morn (8am!)

I have one more pic which was taken with a 'posh' camera - will put it on here in a min

LOL the one of him in the back of the Hilux with his friends?

I have to say, Jake has been mistaken for a girl on man occasions! Until they see him from the side! He has a girly face :D

Fabu-licious pics SA!!!
I am love with Jake - I think he'd make a lovely husband for my Purdey!
And yes - I am missing the shooting season already too:( That said - I went pigeon shooting around the shoot yesterday with OH. Me and Purdey had to walk through all the other woodlands on the shoot whilst OH stood in one wood with the gun. Of course Purdey thought she was still beating so had a great time!

How in gods name did you manage to get away with that rubbishy old stilton when Davidstow is just down the road???
Lovely piccies, but you have made the OH homesick....he says its been ages since he heard the phrase "crib time"!!!:D

Fab pics! I miss it too, although Henry was a disgrace today so maybe it's a good job we have finished for a while:mad: Little sod:mad:

LOL Should really have been Cornish Blue ... buy hey ho!

Ahhhh you can't beat the good ol Cornish phrases! Tell him he'll have to pop down dreckly! :p:D

Oh gawd - what's he been up to!?

He was being a star dog in the woods, walking to heel beautifully, recalling like a pro - then he fell over a pheasant (he didn't find it on purpose, he practically trod on the poor thing!) and after that he was a nutter all the way round our walk. Totally deaf, vanished off out of sight twice, and was generally an ignoramus until I got sick of it and put him back on the lead, upon which he adopted his 'I am a poor, abused, mistreated little spaniel, she is cross with me for no reason at all' face:rolleyes:

'Orrible hound:rolleyes:

LMFAO - sorry i shouldn't but i did!

Jake has also adopted a 'cloth ears' approach to life since the season has finished!

I went on a 4 mile trek with them yesterday and i had to stop 3 or 4 times to whistle like a loony!

Fantastic pics as usual. Like CC said the birds looks in fab contition and 99% cock birds too - i'm impressed! :D

Am also at a loss on a Fri/Sat now it's over. Pidgeon shooting just isn't the same :(
