Shop4bits? Speed of delivery question.

I ordered a neue schule hanging cheek snaffle on tuesday night and i was hoping to recieve it yesterday as it said 1st class post ( recorded ).

Nothing came yesterday and i have just had todays post and again nothing.

Im going combined training tomo and i have put my reg bit on my jumping bridle as i wanted to put the hanging cheek on my dressage bridle.

I ordered from them a few years back and got my bit very quickly but am i being a bit impatient?

How quickly do their bits arrive????? Im assuming the bots are in stock as i havent been told there will be any delay.
 
Well there has been rather a lot of posts about this company of people experiencing problems at the mo and having to chase their goods up, so you might be in for a long wait....but hopefully not.
 
We orderd a bit from them nearly a month ago and we are still waiting! They won't reply to our emails or answer the phone, but they have taken our money!
 
OH NO!!

I have emailed them and tried to phone with no response.

Its not a cheap bit either so thats a bit worrying.

I have orered it on one of these 30 day trials where you pay 5.00+ postage and then if you dont send it back within the 30 days they debit your CC.

I think a call to my CC company may be in order so if i dont get the bit sent i know where i stand or even cancel the CC and get a new one.

It said 3-5 days but id expect it with a few days really unless it was a friday i ordered in which case id expect a delay.
 
The magic word, I hear, is Trading Standards. You usually get your bit within the week after you use it

Ditto this, they took my money and didnt post the bit until i said that i considered the money to be stolen and would be contacting trading stadnards and seeking legal advice - the bit arrived pdq

Ok so im prob being a bit impatient as i only ordered it tuesday but if they cant get it id rather just them say and ill go somethere else and get it. If i've heard nothing by mon/tues i will call them and email them and also send them a letter in the post asking to be informed of what the delay is.

If i get no joy ill speak to my CC company and stop the card to stop them taking the full amount for the bit.
 
Claire (hi!!) first class we always say allow 7 days but who knows eh? Did you pay by credit or debit card? Credit card then you are fully covered, debit card you aren't unless you have card care and it's registered. Either way if it's debit or credit card and not yet debited or showing as pending the bank can stop it. They can't if it's pending though. What make of bit did you get??? I know the cheapest sprenger and Myler stockists. How's Peli?? And you?? PM me!!!
 
I would give them till next Tuesday or Wednesday, if the bit hasn't arrived by then I would threaten them with trading standards.
 
I ordered a bit and it didnt arrive. Emails ignored and the phone was not answered.

I sent an email explaining that unless I received the bit or had a refund within the 10 days, I would be forced to take things further.

I had an email the following day informing me of a refund. I have yet to check my account.

I went to citizens advice about this and follwed their advice. I have heard that NS are changing their casts for bits at the mo and this could explain the delay, but the bit shop she inform people of this and not leave them dangling.
 
Oh no! Cancel at all costs (as above threaten Trading Standards!). I had a nightmare with them with a Myler bit, give Patricia at abitdifferent a call, not sure if she does what you're looking for (might just be Myler?) but she was brilliant, got my bit in two days from her (01228 791265). Hope that doesn't count as advertising...
