Mumbles wants to know what I want for Christmas.

I know the basic answer is that I want a bridle but I was supposed to go to YHL and find something but couldn't make it. Last year pink equine had a really nice (completely plain!) bridle on their sale rail for something silly like £40 and I was hoping for a bargain like that :)

I need something in full size with a really good thick padded noseband with a flash (preferably detachable but beggars can't be choosers) that is brown. Horse has a big plain head so thick noseband v important!

Billets not buckles.

Also, as she gave me a tonne of money for my birthday for trailer lessons I want to be comfortably under £100. She won't let me have nothing, which is what I keep telling her as she has given me enough.

any suggestions?

Nothing helpful re bridle shopping but I just wanted to say:-

Ahhhh.

How lovely that she gave you tonnes of money for your trailer lessons. And.

How lovely that you want nothing for Christmas because she gave you loads of money.

Ahhh.

Now this will sound so sickening but hey

All my life she has been my rock, for a long time it was just her and me against the world really and she has always been amazing. She is genuinely one of my best friends and I really 'like' her if that makes sense. I don't just love her because she is my mum. She is a total crack and the most fun :) I honestly think that she has given me enough to last a life time (not just money but support too) and that she shouldn't have to buy me presents any more. Especially now I am supposedly a grown up. She won't have it though and I have to find increasingly sneaky ways of cutting down how much she spends. I usually try and find something on sale and then when she says that isn't enough I can say 'but it's on sale, really you're buying me a much more expensive present, we've just found a bargain' Hence trying to find something at YHL

How soppy was that. Still. It's true so I stand by it!

Are you trying to make me cry on purpose?

Did you not read my "just been kicked off my yard" post?

Ratbag face.

Yes, I love my mum to bits too. Although she drives me nuts because she looks like Barbie and refuses to get old and her clothes on the washing line look like they belong to a small child. And she is 61.

I think they took the wrong baby home when they got me...

Aghh. No not trying to make anyone cry (although I did read your thread. What a bummer. I'm sure you'll find somewhere lovely though. I reckon if you have a medical reason for not wanting to feed hay and use straw any YO who knows anything will be fine with that!)

And no, you're definitely not a shopaholic if you're spending someone else's money :)
