Shopping at HOYS

What really struck me this year though were a few pushy vendors, one in particular used features of my appearance to try to call me over which other people would almost certainly have been offended by. I therefore learned to avoid those stalls by finding a route past during the time I was there - this meant that I visited none of the stalls around them losing those potential business.

I also didn't like the pushy vendors; one in particular was quite rude when we said no thank you. That put me right off them.

Both of these are terrible. :(

An unacceptable side effect of the non-horsey stalls and higher pitch costs maybe?

My experience was with a non-horsey stall too. Maybe WelshD could let us know if hers was too?

I could be wrong of course and they were a horsey stall, in which case (as per the massive insight on this thread by JoJo5) they could have shouted at her 'you are clearly under 15 and are thinner than a whippet, so come and buy our overly sparkly equestrian wear!' ;) :p
