Got a little shopping list!! mwhahahahhaha! (dont tell hubby!)

We are going to HOYS and YHL, any one know wheres best to shop!

Depends on your budget!! I found Your Horse better for a bargain and the cheaper brand stuff but HOYS was top end stuff and no bargains even on the last night :(

This - although I think shops at both are offering less 'show specials' and bargains than in the past - at HOYS last year a lot of stuff was cheaper on the internet and traders not interested in haggling for a sale.

The lack of bargains is due to the huge costs involved in having a stand at these sort of shows - they charge THOUSANDS for a stand - you have to shift a lot of stock to cover your costs - there is the cost fo staff, accommodation etc etc on top.

There have been no significant show bargains at Burghley for about the last 10 years.......:o

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Well I just worked out my finances after being paid today and after horse, direct debits paid I have £63 left for food and petrol for the month! So I be sat happily watching instead with NO SHOPPING!!

:( did you really need any of the stuff on your list? maybe get a little treat instead of lots of stuff...

Take Slinky's point re the overheads - with everyone pushing for their cut of revenue it makes bargain shoppers less likely to shop and a whole vicious circle of costs up - revenue down - less bargains - less shoppers :(
