Shopping: boots

So I ordered some boots and the store emailed to say they can’t find the 1 that was in stock and the supplier can’t say when they will be able to re-supply

So if anyone fancies a sleuth I’m searching for Moretta Gianna Long Leather Riding Boots -7 XW

I’ve put it into a fair few sites on google and can’t find any in stock for immediate dispatch.

It says there's only one left in stock so I hope they actually are!

Eta - you need to change the size to 7-xw but it does say they have them.

That is them yes but I’ve already been stung by “1 in stock” but was at least able to phone them and ask what’s the holdup. I’m a bit of an amazonphobe is there an actual seller contact? Lol

I worked in publishing and was once told by a major bookseller that they showed one copy in stock even when there was no stock left. Thus was due to the retailing software they used. If they deleted that last copy, the whole record for that item was deleted with all the details of the publisher and where to reorder.
From this I learned that if I was ordering the last copy of a book from any bookseller, to phone up and ask the member of staff to check that the book I wanted was there on the shelf.

Used the oak field ordered them yesterday morning and they arrived this morning!
