:) in need of some over reach boots for jumping and fast work and also a pair for general riding, so which are better;

opinions please i cant make up mind mind! :rolleyes: i have other PE boots and do like the strike protection on them, but is this necessary for over reach boots??

i have some vice versas to share (for those of you who remember them!! :D)

:confused: just to make me more confused.... thanks!!! :D what are the dalmar ones like?? i have a rather thin skinned TB!! everything rubs him!!!
 
I used professional choice no turn and they rubbed my thin skin tv raw very quickly I now uses the woof wear club over reach and these haven't rubbed even when they get wet... only about 20 quid as well

ooo thanks for that, i was debating about the professional choice ones... i wont bother now! will look at the woof wear ones thou :)

oooohhhhhh brilliant im glad its not just me with one of these thin skinned TBs who is extremly difficult to buy for!!! :D :D

me thinks i may be perchasing some of those for everyday riding and then of course splash the cash and get the kevlar ones for competing! :D

I have the dalmar ones for competing and wanted some new ones for under £20 for every day hacking as my rubber ones keep rubbing my boy. Sound like woof wear will be the way to go but for the extra £10 Im thinking i may aswell have 2 pairs of dalmar!!
 
I have the MT ones, and they're not brilliant to be honest. They're not a very good fit on my sec D, I bought the large size for him, they fit round to the bulb of the hoof fine, but they only just fit round his pastern. I think the next size up would be too big though as they still turn round despite having the knob thing in them.

I don't think I'd buy them again.

thanks catstew im yet to hear something good about them, so i dont think ill bother looking at them in greater detail! :)

I know, I'm disappointed with them! Before buying the MT ones I went through a few pairs of rubber OR boots, but thought I'd spend a bit more money as my oaf of a horse ripped them quite easily! I wish I hadn't bothered now - think I'll go for the PE ones when the MT finally die.
