Short boot recommendations please

Can anyone recommend any short boots? I need to get a new pair of riding boots, and as all riding boots look like wellies on me am going to go down the short boot and gaiter/chap route...

I like the look of the ariats but I cannot justify spending that amount of money as I WILL (with absolute certainty) trash them! They are just for everyday stomping about and hacking so I don't want to spend too much money. I also don't want a pair od jod boots, I just don't like them! Rather have something that laces up or something and looks a bit nicer than plain old joddy boots. Not too fussy or anything!!! Had a look round a couple of shops earlier and it was either ariats or jod boots - is there anything in between?!?

i bought my daughter some short riding boots from tescos last week - £26, they do the job and look ok with leggings over xxx

I have the Mountain Horse Stirling boots. Amazing boots though not cheap. however you can get them cheaper off ebay - I got mine for £40 new

they are really cheap and the lace up style is so practical. I have the ariat heritage which are the same style and love them.

I love these, not techniquely a riding boot (toe less pointy) but so comfy and if you spray with water proofer they last really well.
