We took the 4 yr old into a show hunter class on bank hol monday to see what he thought of it. We expected him to be a bit jolly with all the others ( there were 14 in the class!) but he behaved like star even when they had to gallop on.
He was pulled in 1st after the intial assessment, he stood like a rock and trotted up well for the in hand inspection but he was a bit green for the judge which was a shame- no silliness just not as forward as a hunter should be. Anyway, he finished off 3rd so still chuffed and spoke to both judges after who said he was the best in the class and would easily be a county level lightweight or ladies side saddle.
Very pleased!
Here he is:
Excuse the first one- the photographer chose the down hill bend to take pics!
