'short' stud girth help please!

I have been looking for a stud girth, I need 42inch!
Whilst looking, i have come across short stud girths, I was wondering why they are so short and the biggest size they come in is only 28inch. Surley this cant be for EXTREMLY small ponies? Do they stretch to normal sized stud girths with elastic buckles or something?
If they do, what size short stud girth would i need for 42 inch ordinary one?

I think the extremely short girths are for monoflap saddles x

The short girths are for mono flap or close contact saddles that have dressage type girth straps.

Okay Thanks, I thought it might be that, although I did not know you could jump in monoflap saddles with the long straps! Oh dear Im so dumb! Thankyou
