short term working pupil placement

i'm toying with the idea of doing a working student placement, somewhere where they care about the horse welfare, and ethical horsemanship, more than competition - can't think of a better way to phrase it. the problem is i could only do such a placement for a month max, i'd need accomodation, and i don't have a horse of my own, which seems to rule out most places. does anyone know of anywhere suitable?

so far, i've only found pen-llyn lusitanos and sheepcote equestrian, the later of which i'm not sure does such short placements as what i need. so any opinions/experiences with these two would also be very useful.
