Hi all,

I’m looking for a pair of leather or leather style short boots for the yard for winter. I’ve got wellies, longer country style boots but I’m after a pair of short, Chelsea type boots for pottering around the yard as well as wearing out and about a little… not for riding.

I have some Ariat H20 boots but they are suede and light coloured so not very practical! I’m not looking to spend more than ££80-100 max otherwise id get another pair of those.

Any suggestions? Thanks

I got a pair of these last year and I haven't had them off my feet. They are so comfy and waterproof. And not too expensive either.

Second the Shires Moretta range of boots. I bought the Eleonora lace ups and they are waterproof, comfortable and I’ve worn them daily all year. They do a trainer version which I’m going to buy for next summer.

I've got the Mountain Horse classic short boots and love them, they are a bit chunkier than the regular jod boot but so comfortable I wear them in summer with shorts and in winter.

When I broke my ankle they were the only boot I could get on my foot so lived in them.
