Shortage of Haylage in Renfrewshire - Anyone know of any???

Hi,

We are really struggling just now to get haylage for our 4 horses. Usual Farmer has ran out and even bales of hay seems to be in short supply. We were paying £35 for large bale of haylage and were told that there was some available from Perth but this was costing £55 per bale, but this has gone too!

Hay quoted is £45 per large bale, but don't know if we can get this.

Anyone know of anywhere that is delivering haylage or hay - the small bales are way too expensive for us with the 4 horses.

Sorry, the only one I know of does the vacuum packed bales. Does the farmer know of anybody else?

You could try William at Lawmarnock? They sometimes sell on haylage, or gryffeside in kilmacolm

willain doesn't sell it anymore as got to many liveries so use it all up themself

funnily enough i was just going to post about this!!! I am also looking for hay! if i find any i'll let you know.

Tikino - do you have contact numbers for the above? have googled them but cant see anything. Think i've tried Jim Holmes but he didn't have any, where is he based?
