Hi all

Hope you can help. i'm about to buy a stud girth on line and as my horse has a 48" leather girth am thinking that i should get the same size stud girth, is this right as a friend of mine said you should get it 2" longer???? seems odd as my horse doesnt grow an extra 2 inches of girth when we go xc or jumping!!!

Thanks

i just got the same size stud girth as my horses have normal girths... dont see why it would need to be bigger? :S

dont know though - maybe there is a 'rule'...i just havent heard it before! lol :) xxx

they should be the same if the stud girth fits properly... sometimes they curve too much in the middle so dont fit properly.. this could be your friends case? But i would get the same size :)

when you say curve to much do you mean wrapping around the horse incorectly or an odd shape to the panel?

Think i'm gonna stick with my normal size, shes bound to drop off a bit of weight as she fittens and the season goes on!

Thanks
