My horse had stem cells injected into his SDFT about 4 weeks ago (20th May) he is now walking out in hand for 10mins aday but isnt sound?! Should he be sound by now?

I would imagine it would take some time for the stem cells to develop properly in tendon ones and for the tendon to re-strengthen so I wouldn't expect him to be sound straight away. I don't know exact time scales though, I would ask your vet if you are concerned. Is he less lame than he was before?

He said he would be sore for a couple days. I will ring him in the morning and have a chat I think - just didnt wasnt to bother him unintentionally (sp)
