Should herd be wormed with the same product?

Dumb question incoming:

Horse 1 needs worming for tapeworm only (borderline result)

Horse 2 needs worming for roundworm and red worm only (medium count)

Have I made this up or are you always meant to worm horses in the same herd with the same product? I was going to use Strongid.P for horse 1 and Equest for horse 2 but I'm second guessing myself. TIA.

I have used different products for different horses on same day to combat different worms. This was on Westgate labs advice.

Thank you, I suppose that makes more sense in terms of trying to reduce worm resistance.
