Just wondering if I can have some opinions from you all on what to do next with my mare.

She's an 11yr old 15hh, who hadn't really done any proper jumping/jump schooling since I got her 2years ago. We're jumping the 95cm classes out, and schooling over 1.10m at home (I think in a few months we could do a course of 1.10m but Ive not got the bottle to go bigger!).

I jumped the BN on a ticket today and had 4 faults but the height in general is no problem for us. However at the minute we're quite inconsistent, DC's are rare lol but the faults are always rider error.

I'm keen the join BSJA as the courses are so well built, but is it pointless me paying to join now with our 4fault problem? Would you wait until you were a bit more consistent unaff, then join BSJA?

Also, if I do join now - how do I claim the discount rates on being a RC member? I can just find "2 Year discounted rates for Pony Club or BHS Riding Club Members" on the website but it doesn't specify how much discount!

Thank you

The discount is 25% for RC and PC members.

I would go for it if you are saying that the DC's are rider error the more you do the less you will make these errors. They will come in time

Go for it!! You did better than we did today & we're affil!! (Just don't go in any classes that I'm in & win all the money...)

and then discounts http://bsja.co.uk/memb_offers2.html

Have to say the website is very very confusing!! I have emailed them and Mum's going to give a ring tomorrow, I know my Mum needs to join too as I'm only going to be a Junior Associate but then I don't know whether she has to be a non-jumping member + an owner or what!

Then how much the discounts apply to as well...ohh maybe I should just stay unaff! Far less confusing
