Gizmo is a little star bless him :) has been house trained for a long time :) he sometimes has the odd accident if we are upstairs and we have not seen him at the door :( but thats my fault for not seeing him.
Over the past few weeks however if we go out he has a wee in his pen :( sometime we are only out half an hour.
What age should they be able to hold on the there wee?? he is only months so i know he is young and dont expect him to hold for long. He goes a few days and does nothing in his pen then a few days he wees.

Terriers are another breed that take time to toilet train and slip back after long periods of being clean, can u lessen the space in the pen, to just bed, Im assuming pen means he has space to walk around and a bed in it and he is maybe weeing on the pen floor part?

Yep he has space to walk about in. I will make it smaller for him. Some time if we go out for a few min i leave him in the kitchen with the other dogs and he will wee behind the door do you think it because we have left him ??

Hello,

How old is Gizmo?
Is his pen in the kitchen with the other dogs? He may just feel threatened by them or just gets very over excited and bless cant hold it.
How long does he get to spend in the garden? And when you do take him out for a wee maybe give him extra praise for going to the loo and it might encourage him to wait to use the outside loo.
He will grow out of it but it just takes time and patience.

Hi

He is only 6 months the dogs are all in the kitchen he is only in the pen now so he does not chew and i know he is safe. Garden wise if we are in the door is open if warm enough and if its closed he always asks to go out as ive said the only time he does anything at the door is if we are upstairs and we have not seen him. Ive been out today and he has done nothing when i got him i let them all out and he went out and did a pee and poo :) i was worried he was getting a bit of separation anxiety :(.

What sort of age can they hold there wee?

Thanks
