I have a 14 week old male lab pup, I am getting slightly worried that he is too small, I weighed him today and he read 15lbs which after searching on google seems to be very low for his age they seem to suggest around the 20lbs-24lbs mark plus looking at other pictures/videos of 14 week old labs they are so much bigger!. We have another Labrador and I remember when she was younger being so much bigger at this age.
When he went to vets for his jabs etc at both 8 weeks and then 12 the Vet never mentioned anything that he was small he said that he couldn't fault him. When we chose him from the litter he was one of the larger ones, we met both his dam and sire both of them were average size, lean and fit (like a working field Labrador build),hes up to date worming/flea, eating fine (fed on Applaws medium puppy food), passing normal stools, shiny coat, bright eyed and just a typical puppy likes to play/chew with sleeping in between. He goes for walks now too with my other dog but only a short 20 min walk as he obviously tires quicker.
Anybody any experience with this? should i be concerned or is it just that he happens to be smaller?
