And register Mustard with BE?

£86 full year as opposed to £16/ day ticket.....

I just think that maybe I'm being a bit presumptuous as he has only done one 2'3 clear round and is a bit of an unknown quantity!! If I want to aim for Larkhill I need to decide soonish. Day ticketers are so often balloted, I was balloted from Larkhill last year on a day ticket horse
Also, the aim really is to sell him, though at this rate it'll end up being mid-summer. I cant afford to event him full time as well as Moon, he's very much just a bit of fun

cant you reg him for the second half of the season, and use the 1st part to xc school etc, just a thought, eventing is soooo xpensive!!!

I got into Larkhill on a ticket. I would leave it as late as possible to register him before you make your mind up. Treat it as if you are and see how he gets on.

He'll be ready to intro easter time, it's just that if I wait till June it will be pretty much time to sell him and I'd rather sell him with a BE record

Think I will do that, and hope that there's money in my account at the time :P

He'll still have a BE record even on a day ticket....won't he??? I'm sure my friend competed on a ticket in 2006 and she's got a record of all events, scores and placings on the BE website!

You know how he's shaping up and I think you need to try and decide if he's going to get a 'decent' BE record because if you think he will, you'll more than get your registration fee back when you sell him. I understand the issue re being balloted on a ticket too and it's a decision that only you can make. Good luck

Register. You may as well take him wherever you're taking Moon, and you never know, he may even pass her some ditch tips
