Should I have him collected for US/Worldwide?

I'm dithering a bit trying to decide whether I should send Tobago back to Twemlows in January to be collected again so I can offer frozen semen to the US and other countries in 2008. At the moment he is only available in the UK and Europe.

Last time I hesitated even about Europe - it required extra quarantine and blood tests etc., and seemed a bit presumptuous as this was only his first season. But he turned out to be the most popular first-season Arab in the UK, and is already exporting semen to top studs in Europe. So going for Europe as well was the right decision.

Now people are telling me I should make him available for US/Worldwide, and I am hesitating again. Ideally, I'd prefer to wait and assess his first foal crop, but by the time they are born, it will be too late for the 2008 season, so I really have to decide soon.

There is already a lot of Padrons Psyche and Bey Shah blood in the US, of course, but not via Psytadel, and not with Tobago's rather special English/Russian damline.

Whaddya think? Should I go for it?

Definitely go for it! Worthwhile if people worldwide want you're boys sperm cells! Only problem is sending him off somewhere with no rider for 60+ days of isolation... would be better if he could go to a DEFRA approved export station with a dressage rider

Poor Mat - does he get any say in this? He might not necessarily want a daft little Arab stally to train! I love the way everyone is volunteering him for this task without even consulting him LOL!!!
