should i just give up with this horse?

Well I am probably not the only one who can spot the buyer who would string them along saying they'll just 'pay next week' or who has been strung along as such. Hence if you can't afford the price when it is due to be paid, you would not be invited back to get my horse. It gives a bad impression to the seller-and when you get as defensive as you have on here, that suggests there is something to be defensive about.
Then again, I am not dealing in the bottom end of the market, so wouldn't expect my buyers to have money troubles. Just wait a month if you need to to save up all that 'spare cash' you have and then this won't happen again.
As for weird bald patches-could be anything, as a buyer I would have the seller sorting that out or providing a written vets report prior to buying but it wouldn't worry me overly..

And yet again you have just proven how arrogant and vile you really are.

Blimey, do we all need to talk with plums in our mouths and bow and curtsy on here now then ?

Didn't realise H & H had gone up in the world

well looking at what you can buy 'at the bottom of the market' I'm pretty damn impressed with what you can buy and what OP has bought. The TB gelding that she has put a deposit down on and is getting is a cracker!!!

10% deposit is ample. Infact I know people who have brought horses of that value without leaving a deposit.

If their is trust between the seller and buyer then their shouldnt be any issues.

Ive just got my daughters pony. And I gave them a 50% deposit and the remainder is in three instalments. As they Knew she was going to a nice home and would be looked after. I am also local to them. so they have let me have her on just a deposit as they trust me and like me, and understand that at the moment things are hard as ive got a poorly horse with huge vets bills and a insurance complaint going on. Also ive got to get said pony tack etc, and have young children.

The seller has also offered me a few others of hers, but they arnt what im looking for unfortunately. so i take that as a compliment.

doesnt mean I cant afford their monthly costs, I Just didnt have the money up front at that moment.

will don tin hat waiting for slating.

good luck bsja

thats the only pic really i have. i have more vids then pics. hes extreamly polite and has a cracking jump! im very exited to get out galloping and schooling and jumping this summer once he is fit.

and to SusieT, to be quite frank, im glad you dont deal 'at the lower end of the market'. what a rude and snobby comment! im not even going to go in to all the people who have had 'cheap' horses and done big things. crawl back in to your hole.

Jeeze some people on here are like a pack if wolves ready to pounce at anyone they like to show off!
10% deposit is fine IMO, if I were selling a £500 horse I wouldn't expect anything mew than a £50 deposit! When I sold my ID x TB all we had was a 10% deposit.
Some people on this forum are so arrogant.

Congrats on the new horsey though! He's b-e-a-utiful! :D
