Daisy cannot go out for walks at the moment, i normally take her to the yard for a big run everyday but as im on isolation at the moment i cannot take her out at all. She has access to our garden etc ive been playing with her ball in our hallway etc. But i got to thinking horses get azatoria (spell!) can dogs get anything similar as she wont be getting the excercise she is used to untill sat? should i alter her food?

How long term is this? You might just want to check the protein % in the food you are giving her and if necessary buy one with less. It certainly won't hurt to reduce her food a little in the short term

Hopefully it will only be for a week, untill my symptoms have gone.

ETS Im being treated for swine flu so cant go out at all. Im on Tamiflu so hopefully it will pass quickly!

Well if nothing else, reducing her food will stop her from getting porky!

Hope you feel better soon

If its only for a week, I wouldn't worry at all, just cut it down a tad

I feel really bad and keep explaining why we arent going out!! I hope she understands, bless her. When i was crying she came and sat on my knee and snuggled up, she is a sweetie.

Oh no! Hope you are OK.

B is recovering from surgery and our all-day yomping has been replaced by a few on-lead bimbles every day

I have cut his food back from two scoops of meal to one and will probably have to keep it that way for a while.
