I've had my horse goose for 6 weeks now, lots of teething problems but he coming along nicely now . The one thing is slightly worried about is his wind sucking combined with his sensitiveness around the back of his stomach and back legs. He has been very sensitive when going near the back of his stomach and raises a leg if unhappy. It could be down to baby ness due to him being 7 and backed last year but I'm wondering if it has anything to do with ulcers? He's fine around his girth area with no issues but after he has been ridden he's more agitated and when put in the field goes straight to windsuck. He seems to be doing it more recently? He is also very territorial over his food (were working on that). He is out 24/7 with decent grass and hay when needed and has ease and excell mix with one scoop of equine America gut balancer when ridden (every day except Wednesday).
Just wondering what people think about getting him scoped?
Thanks in advance
