Hi!
I'm new to this page hoping for some advice. I have a Welsh section D vetran mare she is 16 this year and I've started to show her but each time I've shown her every judge has asked "what is she crossed with?" granted she hasn't got alot of bone but it's more because she has a slightly dished face.
We then seem to get marked down for her looking like a part bred.
I'm aware welshes and alot of other breeds had Arabs bred into th them many years ago to help with breeding but my question is should we show as a part bred in vetran classes if that's what judges seem to think she is?
Thanks in advance.
I should add as far as I can tell she is a pure bred welsh D but her dam hasn't got a posh registered name so I'm starting to think there is more Arab in there than I once thought.
