my horse desperately needs the farrier for his front foot as the foot is now starting to grow over

but farrier cant come till wednesday. shoe is barely on - nails are practically coming out - i had to hammer the toe clip back on yesterday as it bent due to his fear of a branch on the road (dont ask

)

but as shoe is practically falling off i was wondering if you thought i should take it off myself to prevent him injuring himself on it (which he would most likely do

) or wait for the farrier to take it off/let it fall of natuarally? whichever is sooner

thoughts please!

I would take it off if you know how to do it. Less likelihood of taking any foot off with it or embedding a nail or toeclip in the sole.
