Should I throw my hat away????

I fell off 2 months ago but havn't been able to ride since due to broken ankle and collar bone. Just wanted to know if my hat is still ok to use or should I throw it away. I did bang my head as I had a lump on my forehead but I really can't remember how hard I hit it. Is there anyway of testing to see if it is still ok?? Thanks for reading this xx

I think you are meant to replace your riding hat everytime you hit it (either falling off or dropping it), but i could be wrong?!

I think you can send it back to the manafactuer to test. Better safe than sorry!

Thats what I thought just thought i'd check with you knowledgable lot! Didnt want to throw it away and everyone tell me I was just worrying!!

chuck and treat yourself to a new hat...(im a bit superstitious and f i fall off i have to buy a new hat cuase i think the old one is jinxed!)

i was told you should get a new hat if you drop it or fall off...

Yeah, your meant to replace them if you drop them or bang your head at all. But TBH Ive had my hats for years and fallen off a few times in them too! I would maybe think about getting a new one if I really felt Id bashed my head though.
