So I put a post on recently about what other classes I could do with my native coloured. Had some great replys but most were saying they would trim and plait him. I've been growing his tail and mane for ages and wanted to make sure I do the right thing before it's too late. We do really well in on hand classes always at the top but not so great in ridden.

So what do you all think??

I would trim and plait. He is quite fine for a native coloured. I dont like hogged manes on coloureds very much, I think he would look smart plaited up.

Not looked at the photos (don't like downloading from unknown source) but if he's coloured, then unless he is a shetland, he won't be a purebred native M&M breed. So he should be shown plaited.
