Right, have been toying with the idea of equimats for my stable.
Had the bog standard black ones in which fit fine as it is 12 x 12 stable. The drainage is to the front right of the stable - out under the stable and into my storage area where it collects (and smells)
So, rubber mats were dragged out and straw used, not brilliant, but ok...... However, can see where S has slipped on the concrete floor and thinking about rubber again.
Now, did rubber leak badly as it was cheap and would equimats with the interjoining fixing solve some of the problem????
Looked at single piece matress system from Stable comfort £611 (not financially viable) butfab idea.
I know AmyMay is impressed with it and am tempted therefore to go with equimat once he is turned out and the floor dries up...
ANy advice as i dont want to wast nearly£400 by dragging them back out again (have OCD with stable) and very anal about it all!!!
Advice greatly appreciated!!
