have owned linx for nearly 3 years now, when i first got him i decided to just let him get used to being ridden and develop his paces as he'd only just been broken, im now looking at whether i should send him away for a couple of weeks for some basic schooling (by someone who knows what their doing until he gets used to it) or if it would be better just having lessons more often to get him working with more contact and outline?

here are some pics

from today

if sending him away is a good idea any suggestions, we live outside Bristol which is by south wales, Brean, Somerset etc

More lessons IMO. If you're going to pay the money, more beneficial to get better together, because otherwise you will still ride him how you always have, and he will revert. If you learn together, you will both be at the same stage.

If you think you are capable have some lessons and try and do it yourself, by looks of pictures I know the yard your on (remember the takener)! and you have some fab instructors your way.
