If a horse has been placed (well infact won) Novice BE and been very consistant in doing so, is it still eligable to do RC open or should it go HC ?

RC open teams allow horses to compete with up to 20 BE points, so if the horse has under that then no it should not run HC.
If it is just a general 'open' class then unless the competiton organisers state specific eligibilty criteria then the class is open to anyone so again would not run HC.

It has 20 points. It wound me up as it was against true RC horses. Also think I was a bit sour grapes as I was just grooming, thanks to himself being off wth a sore back!

No. Riding Club open is the same height as BE Novice. We have so few competitions up here it is a bit unfair to make everyone who events at Novice to make them go HC.

What about they few up here that event Novice and above then come along and do the prelim dressage, come on you have to admit our RC is full of pot hunters!!!!!
