Should make 15'2 my b..t

Must be 16.2 at the bum! Obviously can't tell the withers....but I wouldn't put it past him to be 17hh once grown........ Ops!!!
 
Well to be fair, he did make 15.2. Just didn't stop! Mine's the same, breeder said would be 14h. 14.2 max. She's easily 15.1, could be more, I decided last year I wasn't going to measure her anymore
 
I wonder how many really make what they are meant to?! My filly was meant to make 13.2h, but at 3 1/2 (4 in April) she would just be about 13h on a tall day! Slightly disapointed if I'm honest, but hey ho, she is still a character! I doubt she will grow to be a full up 13.2. My mare should have been 15.2, dad was 16.1, dam was 15.1 .. right from the word go, she was never going to make it. Report from when she was born - at only 315days, 'Gem produced bay filly, looks like a dog'!! She is now 17, and 15h on a tall day!

Come to think of it, all mine have come up small.... but, all loved!!

OP - enjoy your boy, from whatever height he may reach, and make sure step ladder is at the ready!!!

its so strange how it goes! his dad is 14'2 and mum is 15'3. full bro is 6yrs old and only 15'3! I will defo enjoy him! just hope I'm good enough for him, hehe!
 
I have the same situation - assured he would make "full up" 15.2 when I bought him as a yearling - he did , three months later. 12months on he is 15.3 at withers, 16hh on his bum. But he is an absolute poppet and I love him to bits!!!
