Just musing really but as the Paralympic are always smaller than the Olympics and so many people watch the main Olympics and get really into it but then have had their fill by the time the Paralympics come about so there is a big drop off. I just wonder if there should be one big Olympics with para events in it and this way the para Olympians get the stage they deserve. Thoughts anyone...

I probably won't watch any of the para Olympics, but i actually probably would if it was on at the same time as the actual Olympics - a bit like i'd never normally watch swimming or sailing but i have because it's been on in between stuff i do like!

Yes I agree.

Yes, I've often thought the para events should be part of the overall Olympic events as well. I feel like having a totally separate paralympics - after the Olympics - implies that it's a bit of an afterthought. And yeah, people have had their fill by that time.

When they were in London I went to see some para stuff but none of the other. I probably wouldn't have if it was mixed in (and more expensive because of that). Different on telly though.
