Should this have been recorded in my horse's passport?

Well over the last 3 years I have owned Niagara, He has had many injuries (mostly due to the barbed wire fencing, hence I left and found a new yard straight away). He caught the fence on his front right leg, It took more than 6 weeks to heal and It is still a really deep scar. It happened again all up the back of his legs again, there are scars there.
Niagara got pneumonia about 3 months ago and was diagnosed the emphysema, Sadly this illness will stay with him now for the rest of his life. He is only 6 now. But is able to be ridden and jumped happily as long as he gets the care he NEEDS to combat this illness.
None of this has been put in his passport, Should it have been? I would rather it wasn't in the passport, as I don't ever plan on selling him anyway.. just curious..
I thought the first thing the vet would have done was put it in the passport..

No nonw of that goes in the passport and even if you sell him, you have no obligation to disclose it to the owner. Its buyer beware. Even your vet cant tell them without your permission.

No, they don't. Only drugs need to be recorded in case your horse ends up in the food chain,
As for disclosing these things should you sell, any observant buyer would no doubt ask about the scars. Some conditions, such as sweet itch, must legally be disclosed, so emphysema may need to be disclosed, but I have no real idea on it.
