He is great. Very smart he does loads of tricks like bowing and copying me. He must just think his weight off!

Well if non Welshie's are allowed, I have 20 yo and 18yo famine relief proects at home. They have been on diets their WHOLE lives-even as foals/yearlings. They have no grass. They get no hard feed. Even when they were in foal and feeding the foals. I suspect they don't posess ribs.

I also think my baby coblet is another not in the possession of a set of ribs. Maybe he wasn't born with any. Arabs are born with one different vertebrae....he's clearly born with less ribs

Mine were like a tube of toothpaste under the flab. They're may have been some sort of non-fat skeletal structure there but no amount of work or starvation could uncover the truth. Very comfortable bareback though!
