I am looking at getting one of these for a horse that has suffered a nasty shoulder injury.
He current has approx 50 stitches in his shoulder, and some of the skin is going to die off, leaving a large hole.
Once the stitches are out the Vet is happy for him to go out, but I need something to cover it - its going to take several months to heal fully.
I was thinking along the lines of an anti-rub vest/ shoulder protecter which I can put on rather than a rug. I'll be able to get a dressing underneath, and is it fits snugly enough it should hold everything in place. I will need one with a surcingle attached to it.
Any suggestions as to make/ type that may be suitable? I'll be getting 2 or 3 (wash and wear) so not too expensive please (although its going to be much cheaper than the Vet bill!)
