Wondering if anyone had any experience with this.
My 17year old has been quite lame now for a few weeks. He damaged his check ligament a few years back in the same leg.
He came in from the field hopping lame in front , originally thought an abscess but poulticed and had farrier out and nothing was to be found. There is no heat swelling or anything abnormal in the leg.
Looks like shoulder lameness so the physio was in the yard so got her to take a look and his muscles are tight , not sure if that's the cause of the lameness or a result , anyway physio sessions haven't made much difference.
On the diagonal back leg he has just developed a small swelling above the cannon bone on the front of the leg just below the hock, could they be related?!
He's going to vets on Thursday but just wondered if anyone had any ideas??
Thanks
