Does anyone have or worn one of the shoulders back posture support thingy's?

If so do you rate them? I am contemplating buying two, one for riding and one for the office as my back and neck ache from slouching at a desk all day long.......

x

They are pretty good - I am terrible with posture! - but get a good one as the stitching starts to give way on the lower priced ones (or it may just be me - fighting it!!)

It flattens them!!
It is like a bib thingy and then pulls your shoulders back on wide elasticated things...

Ok if you are a 36DD+ otherwise puts lots of make up on !!

One of my clients tried one She has posture problems. Doesn't have a desk job, just naturally hunches slightly. She tried one and it did absolutly nothing for her. Didn't make any difference.

hope that helps.

Yep i rode in mine maybe 10 times and my shoulders have stayed "back" since. they really make a difference.
In answer to your question, there is one large velcro strap below your bust on the front, that comes round from the bottom of the triangle at the back.
You can kind of see in the bottom right pic.

Just to add also wore it around the house randomly and worked brill for me too. I dont think it flattens your boobs though?!?! nothing touches them?!?!...if anything it gives extra support lol

Humm possibly, the strap should sit just under the boobs i thought. not that i have alot to support but i didnt feel squished/flattened.
i dont think Only and 36 D should be said in the same sentence!

I have one of those and it just fits with the biggest bit on the back and the strap just under your boobs. My hubby has told me I cant`t wear it when I go out as my boobs look massive. I am only a C cup normally but this makes me look like a DD cup!

It does help and I find that if I wear it all day my shoulders automatically sit back the rest of the day naturally.
I should wear it more often really.

Just purchased one the same as peapot yesterday it gives you a good bust and daughter rode in it today as one of her shoulder is always coming forward and she doesn't get an even contact, it was brilliant. It just has one strap under your bust.

my oh has one, his has two straps that go round your shoulder at the front and one which goes under his 'breast area', i dont think would be in any danger of flattening chest, it helped his back problem but he also tries to fight it and it cuts into shoulders slightly, cost about £35

I hunch my shoulders - I am getting on in years with plenty of drop in the boob area and large ones too. Can anyone PM me with the best and the worst please - I might give one a go........

I'm deffo getting one. A friend hunts in one as she gets a bad back and she said its really warm, too!
Recommendations for me, too!
And I am a 36DD so whooppee - will my boobs be jutting out the top of my hunt coat?

I was thinking about one of these two, have one shoulder which creeps forward all the time....my trainer told me this was caused from carrying a handbag on the same shoulder all the time......makes sense, my bag is massive, especially with all my work stuff in!! Try to keep swapping shoulders with it now!!

Most of what I have read on them sways me to think they are not a good idea. They force your muscles into a rigid position, which can be as bad for your back as anything else. They don't encourage you to develop teh correct muscles either - you would be better strengthening your correct muscles, and investing in ergonomically correct desk equipment
