show cob or traditional cob? or something else completely?!

I'm hoping to show some youngsters next year, but want to get them out in the next few months for a bit of experience. While most are pure or part-bred New Forest Ponies, we've got a couple of Percheron crosses and I'm not sure what to show them as! They are both half Percheron, a quarter New Forest Pony and a quarter cob. They are yearlings, but must be at least 14hands already! I can't find any full body photos of either as they currently look (they're both very similarly built, one may be an inch taller and an inch wider than the other), but imagine a full grown, slightly larger built New Forest Pony and you won't be far off.
My question is, what should I show them as? I don't really know the difference between show and traditional cobs, but do you often get heavy horse crosses in those sorts of classes?

Ive never seen a traditional class that wasnt a coloured class (not sure if they exist for solid colours) they all seem to be coloured and lots and lots of feathers so i think thats one you can rule out
 
AA, I'll get one up as soon as I can find one of them, they're currently both out with our Forest herd and are never around when you need them!
WelshD, they seem to both be unfeathered, so perhaps I should rule out traditionals!

I can't seem to find any shows in the next few months that have heavy horse classes - that would be the easiest option I think!
 
You could do youngstock classes but from what your describing it sounds like they are more of a hunter type build than a heavy/traditional type cob so maybe whip of any feathers, beards, whiskers, pull and plait manes and tails and show them as hunter types
 
Traditionals can be solid or coloured, trads have full manes, tails and feather. Show cobs usually are hogged and pull tails and maybe a bit lighter. Yours maybe more maxi cob?
 
Hunters are a good idea, I hadn't thought about that at this stage - although we think we'll have to hunt them when they're older as we aren't sure what else to do with them!! I do love plaiting as well, so that could be perfect ;D
They'd definitely be maxi cobs if we were to show them as show cobs - at 14+ hands already, I don't think they'll stop at 155cm!
 
They look nothing like cobs from that pic, although the dam looks blooming gorgeous!

The coloured in my sig is a hairy cob that was clipped out for that show to give you an idea. He won that class and all the other cob type classes eg driving, coloured, cob, all the horses were obviously cobs, mostly coloureds, very hairy mostly, a couple of solid coloured clipped out.
